Malas on a Mission: MCSPCA

  • WHITE CHAPEL PROJECTS 15 2nd Avenue Long Branch, NJ, 07740 United States (map)

Malas on a Mission is a partnership between Marilyn Schlossbach, Executive Chef, Environmentalist, Community Activist and Krista Lynn, Jewelry Designer and Spiritual Workshop Facilitator. Going on our 8th year, our Mission is giving the gift of good intention to people as well as local charities.

Mala Beads have been used for centuries as prayer beads in many cultures. Commonly strung with 108 beads, they serve as meditative talismans with each bead representing a repetition of a mantra or intention. Mala Beads are often worn as a protection against evil spirits, to purify ones mind, body and words and to simply remind you of your personal and spiritual intentions.

Join us for a night of creative beading, inspiration, amazing food and drinks led by Krista Lynn of www.kristalynndesigns.com. You will learn about the charity of the night, the Mala Necklace, and tap into your creativity making yourself the gift of good intention. Truly is a wonderful night of Community and Giving Back. You will leave with your very own Mala Necklace to simply use for wear or prayer.

Event starts promptly at 6:30pm. We ask that you arrive between 6-6:15pm to gather your supplies.
