Street Artist KASHINK Teams With Liquitex for New Mural at The Whitechapel Projects
The Whitechapel Projects, a soon-to-be sustainable destination where patrons can enliven their senses and interact with the artisan crafts of nanobrewing, house-made cuisine and emerging art and music, is excited to showcase the work of KASHINK. As a world renowned street artist, KASHINK is recognized for her dynamic and intriguing art installations. Recently profiled by ELLE Magazine as one of the most preeminent female figures in the world of large-scale muraling, KASHINK’s alluring and vibrant creation, the second of several art installations to reside at The Whitechapel Projects (WCP), adorns a semi-permanent, movable slab that can evolve with the space from construction through completion.
Proud to showcase and house the new lively 8×8 KASHINK mural, The Whitechapel Projects is designed to evoke thought and be a continuously evolving project which will welcome and celebrate artists across various mediums. With several installations in the works for the space, the property is on track to being a premier artist destination on the East Coast.
Liquitex, an industry leader and innovator in acrylic paints, sprays, markers and art materials, was pleased to support the internationally acclaimed artist KASHINK in her endeavor at The Whitechapel Projects. This project was produced by Preston Casertano, with video and photography by M Studio.
